The Mayor and Mayoress of Ely got in the festive spirit last night – by taking in the city’s professional pantomime.

Councillor Ian Lindsay and his wife Suzanne were treated to a special performance of KD Theatre Production’s ‘Aladdin’ on December 28.
They enjoyed a mayor’s gala performance of the show, which kicked off its run at The Maltings on December 22.
Councillor Mike Rouse also took in the city’s festive pantomime, and said: “It’s a colourful, slick and very entertaining show with an energetic and talented young cast. Don’t miss it!”
