THE society has had a successful year, with a growing membership and well attended open meetings offering a varied range of subjects from guest speakers. Visits to other societies have also proved successful thanks to the programme compiler. The archive team have worked very hard putting on displays, visiting schools, churches and exhibitions and filing the vast amounts of archives that arrive on a daily basis.
