EVERY aspect of the fire service, including its history, vehicles, uniforms and the emergencies it covered were illustrated using stamps with fire engine red mounts by our visiting speaker, Mr Needs of Lincoln, at the Isle of Ely Philatelic Society's March meeting.
The next meeting takes place on April 6 in the library at the City of Ely Community College at 7.30pm when Mr Pearse will give a talk and display on Gibraltar. Visitors are welcome.
