AT the October meeting, a new idea called Novices' Night was tested. Members who had not previously given a display to the society took over the evening's entertainment. Our novices gave three excellent displays on 'royal anniversaries', 'Austria' and 'changes to GB stamps', all subjects that were new to the club. The evening was a great success and Novices Night will appear again in future programmes.

The November meeting will be held tonight (Thursday) in the library at the City of Ely Community College, Downham Road, starting at 7.30pm. The display will be 'symbol of a nation' by A Williamson. Visitors are welcome at all our meetings.
