The Friday morning club players of Ely Tennis Club held a social and fund raising session.
A warm sunny morning provided the perfect start to a session of skilful and interesting tennis. It was not a competitive morning, but several of the players participate in the local ‘super seniors’ league.
Friday morning is proving a successful club session for those wishing to find a sporting activity to occupy them during the week.
Thirst was later quenched by a refreshing glass of Pimms, accompanied by strawberries and cream.
£75.00 was raised by the 13 players and will be donated to The National Osteoporosis Organisation. Ely Tennis Club says it is proud to support players of all standards and all ages.
