THE East Cambridgeshire Ramblers' Association gave a presentation to the group's outgoing president earlier this month.
Barry Moate, who is one of the ramblers' founding members, was presented with a wooden dish from the National Trust before he led a walk in Soham.
Mr Moate was treasurer and publicity officer for the club when it was formed in 1998 remains a member of the association. He will continue to lead walks.
