GRATEFUL staff at the Cancer Research UK shop in Ely received dozens of bags of brand new clothes donated by Tesco on Friday.

The Angel Drove supermarket donated its end of range clothing for the High Street charity store to sell on.

Dawn Statham, manager of the Ely Cancer Research UK store, said: "We were very fortunate that Tesco offered it to us - it was very gratefully received."

She said the clothing was of good quality and that she hopes to raise a lot of money for the charity through selling it.
