A TERRIFIED Littleport mum watched in horror as her drug-using son Lee Wiseman smashed items in her home.
And on Thursday, Denise Rainford was awarded £130 compensation, and Wiseman was told he would be getting help with his drug problem.
Wiseman was sentenced to a curfew order, keeping him indoors every night for three months, and he will be supervised by the probation service for 12 months.
At an earlier court hearing, 24-year-old Rainford, of Friars Place, Littleport, admitted causing damage to his mother's property on April 23, and possessing amphetamine and cannabis on April 11.
Prosecutor Matthew Bradbury said Denise Rainford had lived with a background of domestic violence in the past.
"So if someone causes trouble in the house it is particularly difficult for her, bringing back memories," he said.
On April 23, Wiseman argued with his girlfriend outside the house, and then burst through the door, claiming: "I have just killed someone." His hands were grazed and bleeding, he shouted and swore, and he turned his aggression on his mother.
He punched a ceiling light, shattering a shade. He smashed a mirror, and an outside light and a fencing panel were damaged. His mother picked up the phone, and he stamped on it.
A police sniffer dog found £200 worth of amphetamine and £5 worth of cannabis at Wiseman's home on April 11, along with some scales.
Representing himself in court, Wiseman said he and his mother were now "getting on brilliantly," and he knew he had done wrong.
He was ordered to pay £120 costs, and the drugs will be forfeited and destroyed.
