A TEENAGER who tried to bite a police officer was given a three-month suspended jail sentence this week.
Danny Stone-Parker, who had admitted using threatening behaviour towards PC Jamie Brown during an incident in Ely on October 19, was also given a two-month curfew order.
He must stay indoors every night between 9pm and 6am. Ely magistrates also ordered 18-year-old Stone-Parker to be supervised by the probation service. He must carry out 80 more hours of unpaid work and pay £60 costs.
Stone-Parker, of Clayway, Ely, had also admitted acted in a disorderly manner on August 5, breaching an earlier community order, and driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Solicitor Adam Haselhurst said the incident with the police officer happened because Stone-Parker was angry, and thought a friend had been assaulted.
"He realises his behaviour was unacceptable," he added.
