A TEENAGER caught riding a moped without insurance or L-plates was fined by Ely youth court. The 16-year-old restaurant worker was ordered to pay a £100 with £35 costs and a £15 surcharge, and six points were endorsed on his provisional driving licence. T

A TEENAGER caught riding a moped without insurance or L-plates was fined by Ely youth court.

The 16-year-old restaurant worker was ordered to pay a £100 with £35 costs and a £15 surcharge, and six points were endorsed on his provisional driving licence.

The court decided not to ban the youngster from riding his moped, so he can get to work.
