A 15-year-old who had refused to get out of bed on a Saturday morning caused damage at his parents' home, a court heard.
The teenager swore and then kicked a metal step ladder, which created a hole in a door at the property.
Appearing before Ely youth court, the boy admitted causing criminal damage and breaching a curfew.
He apologised for his behaviour. The court continued the teenager's supervision order will continue, and gave him a three-month reparation order.
