AN Ely youth admitted assault and resisting a police officer.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, assaulted Kenneth Docherty on July 20, and resisted Pc Radford the same date.
After hearing his pleas on Thursday, Ely magistrates remitted the case to Ely Youth Court for a hearing today (Thursday).
Co-defendant Amy Jones, 24, of Windmill Close, Ely, is also accused of assaulting Mr Docherty. Her case was adjourned until August 14.
Both were given conditional bail.
