A TEENAGER has been charged with an offence of arson. It is alleged that he damaged the wooden surround of a letterbox belonging to an 82-year-old man.
Jamie Candian, 18, appeared before Ely magistrates on Thursday, when the case was adjourned for two weeks.
Candian, formerly of Cambridge but now living in Harlow, is alleged to have committed the offence in Burwell on March 25.
He was given a condition of bail that banned him from going within 100 metres of Eric Wright's Burwell home.
The teenager admitted stealing beer worth £9.99 from the Co-op in Burwell on June 22.
That case was also adjourned until August 2.
