Teenage cyclist injured in collision with van

A cyclist was injured after colliding with a van in Ely, this morning (Friday).

Police were called shortly before 8.30am to reports of a collision in Back Hill, at its junction with Broad Street.

The collision involved a cyclist, confirmed by police as a 16-year-old boy, and a red Ford Transit van.

The East of England Ambulance Service attended and the teenager was treated for minor injuries.

The road was re-opened by 10am.
