A TEAM of four volunteers swam a mile to raise money for Support Our Soldiers Awareness Week which was held at the Paradise Pool in Ely last month. A grand total of £920.00 was raised and the money will be spent on sending care parcels out to the troops on the front lines in Afghanistan and Iraq. Some of the money will sent to the British Ex-Serviceman's Limbless Society (BLESMA).

The team consisted of (l to r) Michelle, Martin, Amanda and Debbie. Most of the money raised will be spent on sending care parcels out to the troops on the front lines in Afghanistan and Iraq.
