A COLOURFUL tapestry marking Ely's link with its Danish twin town, Ribe, can now be seen on the internet.

The tapestry, which hangs in The Maltings, was unveiled last year as part of the 50th anniversary of town twinning.

It can be found on a new website, designed by Isle Interactive, which tells the story of how the twinning came about, as well as describing the design and weaving of the tapestry by Danish artists.

The tapestry can be viewed at www.elyribe-tapestry.co.uk
