Pupils from Rackham School, in Witchford, arrived at school last Thursday dressed up as their favourite book characters. The event was part of World Book Week and Thursday was World Book Day.
"The children came in a vast array of costumes and they made a real effort, which helped to brighten up everyone's day," said headteacher Sid Wales.
Youngsters are pictured in their book character costumes, right, and Charlie, above, was dressed as the hare from the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
