A DRINK driver who gave a test reading more than double the legal alcohol limit was banned from driving for 20 months and fined �350 by Ely magistrates.
Police stopped 40-year-old Julie Gurry as she drove in Stirling Way at Sutton in the early hours of June 21, the court heard.
She smelled of alcohol and failed a roadside breath test. A later test showed a reading of 85 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath, when the legal limit is 35 mcgs.
Gurry, of Waveney Road, St Ives, declined to explain her behaviour to the court.

She was also ordered to pay �60 court costs and a �15 surcharge.
