Scouts from Sutton aren’t afraid of the beast – and are taking part in next month’s run to prove it.
Local scouts are to tackle the Sutton Feast Beast run on June 11 and prepared for their mission by having pictures taken with the beast at their meeting last week.
The youngsters are running the 2.5 ‘mini-Beast’ version of the race to raise money for East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) towards the rebuild of their Scout hut.
The group will also be holding a raffle on the day of the race.
