Safety was the name of the game for pupils at Sutton Primary School when they were visited by a Mick George Ltd truck.
Year 5/6 pupils were given lessons in road safety by Hilary Smith, the driver compliance supervisor for Mick George.
She spoke to the children about the dangers of being around large vehicles such as blind spots for drivers and why it is important to stay visible in the lorry’s wing mirrors when they are on their cycles.
Thursday also children ‘getting to grips’ with a new traversing wall that was installed at the school recently.
The were taught how to use the wall safely so it can be used and enjoyed during break times.
