Sutton election results declared
THE election results for Sutton Parish Council were officially declared on Friday morning.
Sutton residents cast their votes throughout Thursday, with 594 ballots – about 19.44 per cent of the parish – counted.
Eleven councillors were elected to take a seat on the council, which was plunged into chaos back in May after it was left with insufficient numbers and had to suspend business.
The results of the election are outlined below with the elected councillors marked with an asterisk:
Candidates Number of votes cast
Bob BROWNE* 202
Nigel Brett COLLARD 137
