Ten of the licensed lay ministers are newly trained; the remaining five were re-licensed. They will take up the vital task of teaching and preaching in churches across the Diocese of Ely.

The 10 new licensed lay ministers are: Keith Stott, Derek Tombs, Jennifer Tombs and Isobel Wickens, who will serve in the Cambridge South area; Patricia Latimer, Anthony Perryman and Janet Tiplady, who will serve in the Huntingdon area; and Stevie Brooks, Vivienne Bull and Anne Clarke, who will serve in the Wisbech area.

Those transferring from other dioceses are Alan Hay and Lesley Bowring from Canterbury diocese; and Alison Atkins and Stephen Makin from Lincoln diocese; Paul Sibley from Ely diocese also had his license renewed.
