Thousands of pints of beer and cider were quaffed at the 11th annual Wicken Beer Festival.
The event took place on Saturday and saw scores of revellers enjoy a day of fun and festivities, with live music from Ely band The 142s and plenty of real ales and ciders to choose from.
Wicken’s own ciders, Monk and Disorderly and Virgin on the Ridiculous, were well received, along with Stretham’s perennial favourite Pickled Pig.
The beer festival was launched in 2004 by a group of volunteers aiming to raise funds to improve the recreation ground in the village.
Since then, the festival has raised more than £30,000 with all proceeds helping towards the ongoing development of the multi use games area and the play areas.
