It is believed to have been towed away on the back of a trailer by a Mitsubishi Pajero or similar vehicle.

Police said: “We were called at 6.56am today (March 3) to reports of the theft of a summerhouse from a premises in Saxon Business Park, Littleport.

“It is believed that the theft happened sometime between 6.30pm on March 2 and 6.50am on March 3.

“There are only around four of these summerhouses in circulation in the country,” the spokesman added.

Police are hoping a distinctive clock, which was also stolen, might help identify the summerhouse.
