Soham's multi-award winning telemarketing company Blue Donkey blew out the candles on its 10th birthday cake last week.
Managing director Sureya Landini said: "We started from truly humble beginnings in a back bedroom with just a telephone, chair and picnic table. Now our turnover has risen to £1million."
The company moved to premises in High Street, Soham in 2003 after expanding from its Wilburton offices. It now employs more than 20 people.
Blue Donkey clients include Dow Jones, Friends Provident and Bank of Scotland.
