A blaze in a Cambridgeshire field, that later spread to a nearby vehicle, is believed to be deliberate, firefighters have said.
The incident happened on Thursday, August 23 at 7.40pm and the fire had started in three separate places.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue said: “One crew from Ely and one crew from Soham were called to a fire in the open on Quanea Drove, Stutney.
“Firefighters arrived to find three seats of fire in a field that had spread to a vehicle.
“Firefighters used a hose reel and beaters to extinguish the fire and prevent further spread. Both crews returned to their stations by 9pm.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
