A group of King’s Ely students entered into the Christmas spirit by organising a collection of festive goodies for Ely Foodbank.
The students collected more than 25 kilos of festive food and Christmas treats before taking them along to the foodbank’s Barton Road collection point.
The food will be used to help make Christmas happier for struggling families.
Head of English, Frank Danes, who helped to organise the collection, said: “Our students care deeply about the plight of others and want to do what they can to help. We are very proud of their efforts.”
