Students at Soham Village College danced the day away and threw down some serious shapes to raise £2,100 for Children in Need.
The danceathon was led by Fiona Bartley, teacher of performing arts, who said the event was really successful.
“I taught them different styles of dance including the charlston, street dance, jive and lindy hop as well as a cha cha mixed with a waltz.
“It was a sort of Strictly Soham and all 40 students who took part really enjoyed it.”
She added that the event was a “dance showcase”, with the aim of building dance into the school’s scheme.
