It was a step back in time to the 1940s as vintage vehicles and army personnel took the spotlight at a Fenland museum.
Prickwillow Museum was turned into a nostalgia fest for the second-annual event which saw dozens arrive dressed to impress.
Vintage clothes, hair and make-up, traditional 1940s food, music, dancing, military and domestic vehicles were on display.
Visitors enjoyed singing along and dancing to wartime musical favourites, while ladies had their hair styled and the stalls and cafe inside the museum did a brisk trade.
Mayor Cllr Mike Rouse also visited and spoke with guests and visitors while enjoying the atmosphere in the sun.
Prickwillow Museum is a registered educational charity and tells the story of the drainage of the Fens, the history of the local area, and the individuals who ran the drainage pumps in remote locations.
The museum also showcases some of the region’s finest examples of restored diesel engines.
The event took place on Sunday July 5.
