THE EAST of England's shining stars in recruitment, advertising and HR have been shortlisted in the 2006/07 Cambridgeshire Recruitment Awards organised by Archant Herts & Cambs, parent company of The Ely Standard.

The aim is to celebrate success and achievement in recruitment across the county, as well as recognising the people and companies who have made a real difference in the industry over the past year.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation is the main sponsor of the event, which is free to enter and open to recruitment consultancies, HR departments and advertising agencies.

Judges include chief executive of the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce, John Bridge OBE, and managing director of Media Managers Limited, Alistair Wayne.

The winners will be announced at an awards evening taking place on Friday, Febraury 23, at the Huntingdon Marriott Hotel from 6.30pm. Tickets cost £45 per person plus VAT.
