On July 25 the club went on a monthly outing to Colchester and Walton on Naze. With a nice breeze of the sea it was a relief from the heat in land. Friday, July 28 the monthly meeting was opened by the chairlady. The afternoon passed with bingo, tea and biscuits followed by a raffle. On August 22 the club outing is to Hearn Bay and Whitstable leaving Wilburton at 8.30 am.
Anyone wishing to join us is welcome and can bring along children (or grandchildren), the fare is £9 adults, £4.50 children. We can be contacted on 740014, 740079, or 740683 and will pick up on route from Littleport and through Ely. The monthly meeting on August 25 will feature poems and sketches by Hilary Page. Members can bring along a friend to join us for tea and biscuits.
