ON August 22, members and friends of the club went to Whistable where they stopped for lunch, and then on to the pretty seaside town Hern Bay for the afternoon, the weather as usual was very good, the members leaving for home at 5pm.
On Friday, members were entertained with poetry in the style of Pam Ayres, Joyce Grenville and Noel Coward followed by tea, biscuits and a raffle. The next meeting is Harvest Festival on the September 22, and the next outing is on September 27 to Newark (market day).
