ON September 27, members took a day trip to Newark market. On September 29, they celebrated harvest festival. Peter Cockerton read the service and played piano for the hymns. This was followed by a sale of produce donated by the members, then tea and biscuits were served.
Members are invited to the Little Thetford club on October 20 for afternoon tea and entertainment, from 2.30pm until 5pm.
The October 27 club meeting will be a talk by V Hearne-Casapieri. On October 31, there is an outing to Meadow Hall shopping centre in Sheffield. The coach will leaving Wilburton at 8.30am, the fare is £12 per person.
We have a few seats available for this outing, anyone interested is welcome to join us (no age limit). The coach will pick up en-route from Littleport to Haddenham.
