THE 9.15am Holy Communion to celebrate Christ the King was taken by Canon Fiona Brampton, the readings were read by Gillian Johnson and Joan Wessex and the Gospel by Barbara Yarrow. Jill Stimpson led the intercessions and assisted at the altar. Ann Peters was the preacher; the organist was David Catling. After the service, coffee was served by Angie Yate and Barbara Yarrow. This Sunday, the first in Advent, 8am Holy Communion and 11am all age worship. On Saturday there is a Christmas market at St Peter's 4pm-6pm. Come and enjoy roast chestnuts, hot dogs, mulled wine and mince pies, tea and coffee. There will be many side stalls selling cakes, crafts, cards and jewellery and a tombola.
