ON Sunday, Holy Trinity, Haddenham, joined St Peter's when Canon Fiona Brampton officiated at the service for All Souls Day. Celia Stroud read the lessons and Anne Samuel read the Gospel passage. Pam Goodhew led the prayers. After an Act of Remembrance for those who had passed away, Fiona read the list of names of those for whom a special commemoration had been requested. Jackie Kirby was the organist at this moving and lovely service.
Next Sunday, (November 12) there will be a 10.50am service for Remembrance Sunday.
On Saturday, from 10am until noon, there will be a stall on the Church Green selling pickles, preserves, chutneys and jams in aid of church funds.
This is an annual event and very popular so early attendance is advised.
