THE Easter celebrations started when 27 members and friends enjoyed a breakfast before the morning service. The Rev Roger Steward led the Easter service, which included the celebration of Holy Communion when members from Coveney and Pymoor Methodist churches joined us.
During the service, children who had been baptised during the year were presented with their Cradle Roll Certificates. The St John's singers sang two songs, Brenda Harrison and Duncan Palmer read the lessons and Peter Kirby was the pianist.
There was no evening service at St John's but there was an Easter Circuit Celebration Service at Haddenham Methodist Church.
On Sunday, Duncan Palmer will lead the morning service at 10.45am and Ian Weatherall will lead the evening service at 6.30pm. You are very welcome to come and join us at any of our services and events.
