LAST Sunday, the congregation at St John's joined with Coveney and Pymoor at Pymoor Methodist Church for their Friendship Service. The service was led by John Heaps and the speaker was Sister Mavis. Cyril Heaps, Yvonne Peacock and Margaret Day read during the service, and New Life accompanied the singing. This was the first time that St John's had attended this service, and this was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The evening service was a united service with St George's, led by Duncan Palmer, and the speaker was Carol Swain.

Gladys Rose and Brenda Harrison read the lessons and Pat Hodson was the pianist. The Women's Fellowship met on Tuesday afternoon. There will be a prayer meeting in the vestry on Saturday at 9.30am. Also on Saturday, there will be a welcome return visit from The King's Lynn Male Voice Choir. Tickets are £5 including refreshments, payable on the door. The Rev Roger Steward will lead the Sunday morning service at 10.45am and the evening service will be lead by Terry Day, at 6.30pm.
