JANET Roebuck led last Sunday morning's worship and spoke to the Sunday school about miracles that happen today. Tony and Jean Murfitt and Pam Sole read the lessons, pianist was Peter Kirby. The evening service was at St George's Parish Church. This Sunday (July 9) there are no services at St John's, but a circuit service will be held at Ely Methodist Church, led by Raymond Hampton. This will be at 10.45am and the evening service is at 6.30pm.
On Saturday July 15, there is a Kitchen Prom Concert with Jennifer Thompson and Jackie Kirby at 7.30pm in the church. Donations of £5 at the door appreciated, refreshments available. Flower Festival entitled 'I am' is on from August 26-28. A warm welcome to all who would like to join us.
