THE enjoyable concert given by Jennifer Thompson and Jackie Kirby raised £290 towards completion of a new kitchen at the church. Ladies of the church also served refreshments. The social committee would like to thank all those who attended.
Rev Roger Steward led last Sunday morning's worship, including the celebrations of Holy Communion. During the service, Ian and Jane Wetherall, who moved to Littleport from Royston, were welcomed as members of St John's and prayers were said for them both. Ian Wetherall led the evening service. Next Sunday, Richard Dean will lead the service at 10.45am. The evening service will be a celebration service at Pymoor with the Rev Alan Hampton at 6.30pm. There will be a Flower Festival entitled 'I Am' from August 16.28 in the church, please look out for posters of the event.
