LAST Sunday, John Murfitt led the morning service. Gladys Butcher and Pam Sole read lessons, and Janice Weatherall was the pianist. The Rev Roger Steward took the evening service and the pianist was Pat Hodson.
The Flower and Friendship group met on Monday evening when members arranged a cascade design. The Women's Fellowship met on Tuesday afternoon. There will be a coffee morning between 9am and 11am on Saturday.
David Middleton will lead next Sunday morning's service at 10.45am. The evening service will be a celebration at Bruce's Barn, Ely Road, Little Downham, which includes refreshments, fireworks and a bonfire.
Forthcoming events: Christmas fair on November 25 in the church between 10am-2pm. Light lunches will also be served. The third Christmas tree festival will take place on December 2/3, contact Pam Sole on 01353 863421 if you would like to take part.
