THE Spring Fair held last Saturday was a great success and raised over £500 for church funds. Thank you to everyone who supported this event in anyway. The Revd Roger Steward took the Mothering Sunday Service last Sunday morning. A presentation was given by the Sunday School of work they had been doing on Joseph. Anna Wynn, Susan Scott, Yvonne Peacock and Pam Sole did the readings during the service. Members of the Sunday School gave out posies of flowers during the service. Baptismal cards were also presented to two babies that had been christened during the last year by Janet Tomba. David Middleton took the evening service. Pat Hudson was the pianist for both services. The Flower and Friendship Club met on Monday evening. On Tuesday afternoon, the Women's Fellowship held their meeting, and the St John's Stitches group met in the evening. Duncan Palmer will lead next Sunday morning's worship at 10.45am and the evening service will be united with St George's Parish Church at 6.30pm.
On April 22, there will be a concert in the church featuring The King's Lynn Male Voice Choir and Jacky Kirby and Jennifer Thompson. Starts at 7.30pm, tickets £5 on the door. Refreshments will be served.
