ON May 26, a party from our sister church in Snaitheim, Germany, arrived in Littleport on a reciprocal visit. We travelled to Germany last year. On Sunday, our 10am parish Eucharist was celebrated by the vicar, the rev Rosemary Maskell, and the sermon was preached by the German clergyman the rev Williamson. After the service, a bring-and-share lunch was held in the parish room, to enable the visitors and parishioners to meet socially. The short visit ended on Monday.
On Sunday (June 4) the 10am service will be taken by the vicar, as the curate, the rev Dixon is on holiday.
