ON Sunday, the vicar, the Rev E Maskell presided at the 10am Parish Eucharist, and the sermon was delivered by Jane Harris.
At 6.30pm, we joined the congregation at St John's Methodist Church for their Harvest Festival.
This Sunday (October 15) the vicar will officiate and preach at the 10am sevice of baptism.
The Gift Day on Saturday was successful, raising in excess of £1,400 in aid of maintenance and preservation of our church.
On Saturday, the last in our present series of car boot sales will take place on the Tower Lawn from 9am until midday. Refreshments will be available.
On Sunday (October 22), the Rt Rev Bishop Peter Dawes will preside and preach at the 8am Communion and the 10am Parish Eucharist.
