THE Rev Pauline Scott led our Christingle Service during which younger members of the congregation were presented with a Christingle, symbolic of the Light of Christ coming into the world. At our village carol service, also led by the Rev Scott, representatives of different village groups read lessons recounting the story of the birth of Jesus. On both occasions, we were pleased to be joined by the band of local musicians who provided the music for our worship. On Christmas Eve, there will be a service of Morning Praise at 9.45am. Later that day, our Journey to Bethlehem begins at 6.30pm in St George's Church. After a short service with carols, we make our journey to Bethlehem (the Baptist Chapel) singing more carols as we travel. On arrival at 'Bethlehem', we conclude our worship and round off the evening with refreshments.

On Christmas morning, there will be Family Communion at 9am - a short service of celebration for all ages.

On Sunday, December 31, there will be a service of morning praise at 9.45am.
