ST George's Church has a packed programme of creative events at the end of the month for its Arts and Crafts Festival.
The festival, from June 29 until July 1, is part of a mammoth effort on the part of the community to raise funds for the restoration of the north aisle roof in the church.
The three-day event will include exhibitions from local artists, open evenings and painting demonstrations.
Church warden Cllr Grenville Goodson said the church will also be holding car boot sales on Tower Lawn to help towards the fund - the first of which is on Saturday.
"We also had a very successful open gardens weekend, which raised more than £850," he said.
"I'd like to express my gratitude to those who opened their gardens and supported the event."
