ON Easter Day, Bishop John read the confirmation service at 6am. The Revd Rosemary Maskell led the parish Eucharist at 10am. The preacher was Jane Harris. On Tuesday, there will be a pram service at 2pm. On Wednesday, there will be a service of Holy Communion at 9.30am.
On Sunday (April 23) Holy Communion will be at 8am. The patronal festival will be held at 10am, followed by a bring-and-share lunch. The celebrant will be the Revd Theresa Dixon. The preacher will be the Revd Rosemary Maskell. Evensong will be at 6.30pm.
A Mayday fair will take place on May 1 from 11am-2pm, including Maypole dancing, Morris dancing, a barbecue and stalls. The car boot sale will begin on May 5 from 9.30am-12.30pm on the Tower Lawn.
