DROP into Costa Coffee in Ely this weekend and you could help intensive care patients.

Managers at the coffee shop will be raising money for Addenbrooke's Hospital's Neurological Critical Care Unit to remember their former colleague Sarah Oldham, 17, who died last Wednesday at the NCCU after a car accident at Mepal.

A bike ride from Costa to Sarah's home village of Sutton will take place on Tuesday. To support the managers and see them off, turn up at Costa at 10am, sponsor staff in store or donate your change after your purchase. Any small amount will help the 900 patients who arrive in the NCCU each year.

Bikes for the ride have been kindly supplied by neighbouring Market Street business City Cycle Centre.

See this week's paper for details of further charity events to support the NCCU.
