BUDDING football stars between the ages of five and 14 were honing their talents at special skills sessions in Ely last month.

Neil Andrews, of Cambridgeshire FA, cast his expert eye over the efforts of the youngsters during the sessions on the playing field next to Larkfield Resource Centre in High Barns.

Jo Fitzpatrick, Barns community development co-ordinator, said: "It was very popular when we did it last summer so this followed on from that.

"We had 28 children at each of the two sessions and the feedback from parents has been very good.
