ELY Museum will host an innovative new sound installation from Saturday, based upon the long and varied career of a Witchford performer.
The work, commissioned by Ely's Babylon Gallery, has been created by artist Lorrice Douglas in collaboration with John Lowe, pictured, an artist and performer who has worked in theatre for most of his life.
The sound installation features extracts from Mr Lowe's memoirs, including his experiences performing in various countries including Japan, while he was a prisoner during the Second World War. Nathan Jones, events manager at ADeC which runs the gallery, said: "The museum provides a ideal setting for this installation which is a good example of the work the gallery undertakes. For more information see our website www.babylongallery.co.uk"
INFO: The exhibition will run during the museum's normal opening times:
The installation will be on display until Sunday, January 21.
