PARENTS and other family members can involve themselves in a special art project at Mepal and Witcham Primary School.

A series of workshops, to be run by county art advisor Rob Howard, will show participants how to make faces from clay.

The best ones will be "fired" before being used to decorate an external wall at the school.

The project is being made possible by a £3,325 grant from Awards For All.

The first workshop, for children in years five and six, will run from 1-3.15pm on Friday. Parents can join in from 3.15-4.15pm.

Three more workshops are planned: December 1, Years One and Two; January 16, years Three and Four; January 29, Reception children.

Parents and family members can contact Jane Green (01353 778300) for more information.
